We renovated the house when we bought it – to the studs – and brought it back to life. 2 bedrooms upstairs (one en suite) and two bedrooms downstairs with a shared bath. The kitchen is custom with marble counter tops accented with butcher block. Hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and dining area with radiant heat and smart, European-style enamel radiators in the rest of the house. We loved the mud room/laundry room where people could drop muddy boots in the winter or wet towels after a day at the beach or dogs could shake off before entering the rest of the house. The detached 2 car garage has a finished space above that we used as an office – but, the uses are endless. Close to Portland and vicinity, Yarmouth boasts enviable schools and community services. We will miss it but are glad that we can offer it to a new steward to enjoy and love.
